Zeus is a bright, fun-loving boy with a heart as big as his smile. He is full of life, loves to play with other dogs, and has that perfect mix of goofiness and charm that make him an excellent companion.

Before arriving at the shelter, Zeus had never been on a leash but he has come so far! He is still gaining confidence and sometimes does a playful roll when he is unsure, so he will need a home that can continue safely helping him learn that walks are a good thing. He is already showing how smart he is, when you tell him to "sit", he will hold it so patiently until you give the all-clear to move again.

At just under 2 years old, Zeus is ready to keep learning, keep loving, and bring endless joy to a home that will appreciate his silly spirit. A home with adults only would the best fit for this big-hearted goofball.

Zeus, Boxer & Terrier Mix, Adult, Male, Medium, Brown. Vaccinations up to date. Adult Only Home Preferred, Prefers a home without Children.

All Smyth Animal Rescue dogs are in foster homes and it takes time to set up meet and greets. We require an approved application before we will set up a meeting. Start by filling out an Adoption Application Form.

The Smyth Animal Rescue adoption fee for dogs/puppies is $200. The fee covers spay/neuter, rabies vaccination, DHPPL vaccination, 4DX test for heartworm and three major tick-borne diseases, deworming, and flea/tick preventative medication.

Smyth Animal Rescue require that all dogs adopted from them live indoors - they cannot be chained or live in an outdoor kennel full time. SAR also require that all existing pets in the home are spayed/neutered and are up-to-date on vaccinations. SAR do follow up with the applicants veterinarian to ensure these requirements are met.
